Persistent Bird.

I awoke a little after 11:00a.m this morning to a tap tap tap and a unfamiliar noise, it took me a few moments to gather myself and awaken from my slumber, quietly I said to myself " I don't think I let the dogs outside yet this morning" and after a quick check I found them still sleeping. I was perplexed by what could be making the noise outside my door, so I sat in silence for a while and soon I seen what it was, a bird flew up to the window at the top of the door and with wings flapping, began to peak on the window and peer inside. I thought to myself, well that's not something you see everyday but I also thought that that would be the last time I saw him, boy was I wrong, it is now 6:50pm and he just once again peaked inside my home, he has been very gentle the way he lands elegantly on the window and looks inside, yet he has also been persistent, I'm not a bird but I can imagine all his bird friends and family telling him to give it up, stop coming and looking in the window, because the humans inside don't care, but the truth is I do care and I rewarded and acknowledged the bird with bread crumbs. I was sitting here trying to think of something to write and after getting a idea from someone, God spoke to me and said "It was I who sent the Bird" God wants to use the Bird to speak to someone, I know he spoke to me already but there is someone else that needs to hear the story of the "Persistent Bird" the bird first represents Jesus, the birds knock on the door is a reflection of Christ knocking on the door of our hearts,"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.Revelation 3:20" sometimes we are sleeping so we aren't familiar with the knock, we need to wake up so that we can hear and become familiar with his knocking and we don't think it's someone else doing the knocking," And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.John 10:4-5. The birds gentleness yet persistence shows how Christ is Gentle yet persistent with us, he keeps knocking at the door in our lives that we have shut to him, but he does it with gentleness, never forcing his way in. Lastly the bird represents those that have heard the knocking of Christ, we seek to follow him yet family, friends, strangers, and obstacles keep telling us "Give up" "Stop seeking God's plan for your life" "God doesn't really care about you" well I'm here to tell you do NOT give up, keep seeking after God, make him the desire of your heart and I can promise you your reward will be greater than a breadcrumb.Keep seeking God and his plans for your life, humble yourself before him and he will promote you in his timing.

Declaration to Satan

Little by Little things are changing,
Piece by piece this shattered puzzle called life is coming together.
I am in the hands of the master carpenter.
The enemy has tried to destroy me, because my call is great.
But ha you stupid evil ones, you forgot one important thing.
I'm covered by the Blood of Christ
so your power is now rendered defenseless.
Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so,
Little ones to him belong, Devil your weak
But My JESUS is STRONG!
Silence me, WOW you really are pathetic
Just because I hardly speak with an audible tone
doesn't mean you've silenced me, sometimes it's in
the Silence that things are heard crystal clear.
My written words speak volumes and my written words they say
Satan, your defeated by the Power of his Name.
Jesus, Jesus, hear my cries, come and rescue me.
Satan your a liar, no longer will I believe your lies.
29 years of torment from you, hope you've had your fun
cause I've served your eviction papers you spineless coward,
No I will not die before my calling has been fulfilled, No I will not be chained to this
brick wall for ever, I will be able to sleep at night, I will NOT fall back into the life I once lived. Give it up, admit defeat Satan your the one that's worthless and you're
Under my feet.

Are you Rooted?

A flower can not bloom if it keeps being uprooted, it needs to be grounded and receive sunlight, water and care for it to grow into what God intended it to be. The same can be said of a Christian, they will never grow until they ground themselves in the things of Christ, soak up his word and stop putting everything else ahead of God. They need to plant themselves in a Church that will feed them the things they require in order to grow and stay their, It’s ridicules at all the Church Hoppers in today’s society, they hop from church to church because they want everything to fit them to a T. to that I must say, GET OVER YOURSELF. If God is telling you it’s time to move on from somewhere that is one thing, but if you’re just moving about because the walls aren’t the color you like, the music is to loud or long, the Pastor doesn’t wear a 3 piece suit or some other frivolous matter you need to check yourself, cause as long as you keep uprooting yourself and only get bits of Food and water you will remain at the same place you are at, and don’t wait and make the Pastor of the Church Bottle feed you on Sundays, you need Food and Water EVERYDAY, Discipline yourself to feed yourself.  

Do they know Hope?

Daily I sit  looking out my window and I see people walk by and I just really got to wondering, out of all the people I see everyday in my own little corner of the world. how many of them really know Jesus?, how many of them are struggling with addictions/Depression?, How many of the kids Go home to a loving family?, how many don't?, what is their world like behind closed doors?
Has anyone told them they are loved? Has anyone told them they have a hope? Has anyone told them that hope is Jesus? Has any one told them?.................................. WILL YOU?

Be Still

All to often we get frustrated at the point we are at in our lives and we attempt to move from the place we are to the place we think we should be, never once stopping to enjoy life as it is in the moment. It is the rush to get from one point to another that causes us to miss out on life's simple joys. I know I am guilty of that I want so badly to be out of this season I am in now that I spend all my time trying to think of ways to move forward and when nothing seems to be working I tend to get frustrated and angry. The thing is God already knows the outcome so I should just stop struggling and enjoy life as I know it right now, and trust that in God’s perfect timing HE will promote me to the place HE desires me to be for the next season in my life. If you are struggling with where you are right now don’t try to do things in your own strength to advance to the next level because more times than not it’s when we try to climb the ladder on our own that we fall the hardest and then it takes even longer to reach the top. Trust God he has your life story in front of him, let him direct his story through you.

It has been quite a while since I have taken the time to post anything on here. Right now I am blank on the Poetry that I created this blog for in the first place, so I am letting everyone know now that this will be a  smorgasbord of postings but over all it will still be and will always be Christ Centered Topics and Writings.
